Job Summary
As a Chef at our Mt Isa establishment, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality meals and providing exceptional dining experiences to our guests.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our culinary team and contribute to creating memorable experiences for our customers. You will work in a fast-paced environment, preparing and cooking food, managing dietary requirements, and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Chef in a similar environment, trade qualifications in Commercial Cookery, and strong cost control and menu planning skills. You should also have excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook food to high standards, including buffet-style breakfasts, à la carte lunch and dinners, group functions, and set menus.
* Manage dietary requirements and ensure that all guests receive a great dining experience.
* Maintain high standards of food safety and quality, adhering to HACCP and food hygiene guidelines.
