We are looking for an enthusiast who is ready to dive into automotive electrical technology work. As our next Automotive Electrical Apprentice, you will learn from industry experts, master essential skills, and earn a nationally recognised trade qualification.
About AGA:
AGA has more than 30 years of experience training and placing people into employment, focusing on apprenticeships and traineeships. We partner with the MAS National consortium to deliver Apprenticeship Network Provider services in Victoria.
About the role:
The position is Monday - Friday, 38 hours a week, with a four‐year on‐the‐job training programme. You will receive mentorship and support to help you acquire a Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology and build a clear career pathway.

About you:
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to work under pressure
* Ability to follow instructions from skilled mechanics and technicians and to use initiative
* Holds a driver's licence and vehicle
* Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
* Willing to attend RTO/TAFE training
What you will do:
* Learn from skilled technicians, participating in electrical repairs and maintenance tasks
* Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues in heavy commercial vehicles
* Perform routine maintenance and inspections for optimal vehicle condition
* Gain hands‐on experience in repairing mechanical and electrical components
* Follow safety guidelines to ensure a secure work environment
* Document work with detailed records of repairs and procedures
* Engage in continuous learning and stay updated with automotive technology
* Collaborate effectively with the team to deliver high‐quality service
* Provide excellent customer service and interact professionally with clients
* Adapt to new technologies and advancements in the industry
