This is an exciting opportunity to join Aurecon's dynamic Energy & Industrial team as an Electrical Engineer. You'll work on high‐profile national defence projects, major mining projects, and large infrastructure projects, collaborating closely with industrial clients and gaining valuable experience across a diverse range of challenging and impactful projects.
Key Responsibilities To Bring Ideas To Life
Help bring ideas to life by producing both concept and detailed designs aligned with client needs. Apply problem‐solving skills to create innovative solutions and collaborate on large, multidisciplinary projects to deliver fully coordinated outcomes.
Apply Safe Design principles to daily tasks. Work with South Australian‐based water and mining clients as well as industrial clients across the country.
Ensure quality of engineering design deliverables and mentor junior engineers. Provide design support across areas including LV and MV power distribution or industrial processes and instrumentation.

To Succeed In This Role, You Will Need
* A relevant electrical engineering qualification and eligibility for Chartered status with Engineers Australia or demonstrated effort toward this.
* Detailed electrical design experience, with some design management experience preferred.
* Experience in medium/high voltage, low voltage, instrumentation, control systems, or process.
* Knowledge of engineering design software such as ETAP, PowerCad, CDEGS, etc. (preferred).
