We now have an exciting opportunity available for a Store Person – Trade Assistant to join us in our Operations & Maintenance team in Newman, WA on a full time permanent basis. This role is a Monday-Friday position.

Reporting to the Plant Manager Newman, you will play a key role in supporting the safe and efficient operation of the power station through effective stores management, site logistics, and trade assistance.

Key Responsibilities

* Receive, dispatch, load and unload goods while ensuring safe and efficient materials handling
* Maintain inventory control, stocktaking and warehouse organisation
* Prepare and coordinate outage materials, parts readiness and freight logistics
* Coordinate vehicle fleet servicing, maintenance schedules and site pickups
* Maintain warehouse, workshop, yard and laydown areas including general housekeeping
* Provide operational support to Operations and Maintenance teams across Power Station assets as required

Your background

* Previous experience in a Storeperson, Trades Assistant or similar industrial role
* Experience using CMMS systems (e.g. Maximo, SAP, Pronto) for maintenance and inventory management
* Forklift licence and current driver's licence (required)
* Ability to work safely in an operational power station or heavy industrial environment
* Strong organisational, time management and communication skills with a proactive team-focused attitude
* Experience in power generation or heavy industrial environments, with willingness to obtain additional tickets (e.g. Rigging, EWP, Confined Space, Working at Heights) highly regarded
