We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Mill Production Operator to join our team on a rotating shift structure.

Main Responsibilities
1. Ensure adherence to relevant OHS/WHS legislation by taking reasonable care for their own health and safety and that of persons who may be affected by their actions or omissions.
2. Cooperate with any reasonable instruction, policy, and procedure.
3. Identify and report all hazards, near misses, injuries, illnesses, and incidents.
4. Behave in a manner that demonstrates care for others and company product and property.
5. Quality: Attend and participate in all relevant training and personal development.
6. Actively participate in planned site meetings.
7. Comply with relevant HACCP requirements, ensuring activities comply with the program and assisting to manage the maintenance of HACCP accreditation.
8. Understand and awareness of Feedsafe, ensuring activities comply with the program and assisting to manage the maintenance of Feedsafe accreditation.
9. Participate in site Continuous improvement program.
* Production: Plan and execute all aspects of the manufacturing process within acceptable tolerances and to site targets.
* Filling and packaging 20kg bags of finished feed to fulfill customer orders.
* Empty storage silo of finished product into designated tote bins.
* Prepare and fill bulk bags of finished feeds as required.
* Accurate inventory reconciliation and reporting to site management.
* Ensure at all times that the plant and equipment meet specified standards, and is in a safe working condition.
* Report staff and workplace issues to Site Manager when they occur focusing on continual improvement.
* Any other responsibilities and/or Authorities as specifically designated by Shift Supervisor, Site Manager or Delegate.
* Identify and report non-conformances as per Ridley process.
* Test and unload incoming raw materials and products.
* Test and load outgoing finished products.
* Check off and verify incoming products and materials.
* Prepare the hand tip weighing of premixes accurately for each production run of finished feed.
* Learn, be trained on all key production requirements to support the Shift Supervisor.
Key Requirements
* Solid understanding of OH&S and Environmental Policies and Legislation.
* Able to work shift work and overtime.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Physically fit to undertake manual and repetitive tasks.
* Able to work in a team environment to meet all targets.
* Reliable and motivated.
* Good computing skills. Able to work in Office and AX programs.
* Holding a valid Driver's Licence.
* Holding a valid Forklift Licence.
