The Opportunity
DTMI Maritime is the lead agency for a multimillion-dollar program of transformational waterfront and infrastructure projects along the Western Australian coastline for the benefit of the WA community. We are delivering an unprecedented level of investment in our recreational and commercial boating infrastructure, including marine and land side development opportunities, to enhance customer amenities and the visitor experience.

As the Planning Project Officer, you will support the Department's statutory planning obligations for state maritime infrastructure, including reviewing scheme amendments and relevant planning policies. You'll provide planning advice on development applications affecting the Department's vested land and work closely with Harbour Managers and the Leasing branch.
You will also contribute to multidisciplinary projects, managing discrete planning tasks that support the strategic development and delivery of key maritime infrastructure across the WA coastline.
