We're currently seeking a Field Sales Engineer to join our team and lead the growth of isolation valve solutions across Adelaide & Regional South Australia. You will be responsible for growing Isolation Valve sales in this region by strengthening existing customer relationships and securing new business opportunities.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
* Develop and grow customer relationships through proactive engagement and solution-based selling
* Promote Emerson's isolation valve products and services, including upgrades, training, and LTSA offerings
* Deliver technical presentations, support exhibitions, and respond to customer inquiries
* Collaborate with the Proposals team to prepare quotations and demonstrate product capabilities
* Maintain accurate sales forecasts and CRM records while meeting assigned booking targets
* Stay informed on market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to drive strategic growth
Who You Are:
You readily act on challenges, without unnecessary planning. Takes a proactive approach to craft and influence customer expectations and maintains a positive attitude and forward-thinking approach despite troubling circumstances or setbacks.
For This Role You Will Need:
* Proven sales experience, ideally in the Resource, Water or Chemical industries
* Strong understanding of technical sales, budgeting, and forecasting
* Experience using CRM systems and a data-driven approach to customer engagement
* A proactive, customer-focused mindset with the ability to influence and build trust
