Currently seeking a suitably experienced warehousing professional for a permanent full-time position with a positive and progressive company. Based in Canning Vale, you will be provided with hands-on system training and be given the opportunity to progress.
Reporting to the Dispatch Manager, this role involves a broad range of warehousing duties including picking and packing orders, operating electric forklifts, and assisting the warehouse team wherever required. **Responsibilities**:
- Prepare and complete orders for delivery and pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
- Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)
- Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
- Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimise space utilisation
- Complete inventory management system
- Report any discrepancies
- Communicate and cooperate with managers and co-workers
- Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment
- Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, policies and regulations
- Perform stock takes as required
**Requirements**:
- Proven working warehouse and stores experience
- Proficient computer skills in inventory software, databases and systems
- Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Physically fit and the ability to lift heavy objects
- Current forklift licence or be willing to obtain
- Enjoy working in a team environment and who is positive and proactive
