Structural Design Expert Wanted
We are seeking a skilled Structural Design Expert to join our Buildings Team in Newcastle. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering structural design for buildings, inspections, assessments, and reporting.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in building design projects and will be able to lead teams to ensure successful project delivery from conception to final design and construction surveillance.
Key responsibilities include:
* Collaborating with architects, project managers, building services, and civil engineers on multidisciplinary teams delivering iconic projects.
* Mentoring junior engineers and ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
Requirements
* A relevant university degree in Civil and/or Structural Engineering.
* 3-6 years' industry experience as a Structural Engineer with depth of experience in building design projects.
* Memberships of Engineers Australia and working towards CPEng and NER registration are desirable.
* Comprehensive knowledge of Australian Building Codes and Standards.
