We're looking for a reliable, well-rounded carpenter to join a small but busy carpentry business working across renovations, capentry projects and residential maintenance work.
This role suits someone who enjoys variety, can work independently, and takes pride in producing quality work.
About the work
Projects are a mix of:
* Renovations and alterations
* Decks, pergolas and outdoor structures
* Doors, skirting, framing and fit-off work
* Property maintenance and general carpentry
* Problem solving on existing homes
Some days are faster-paced renovation work, while others are maintenance jobs where organisation and documentation matter. (sometimes nice to mix it up)
About the role
This isn\'t a big company environment — it\'s a small operation with good clients and a steady pipeline of work.
Many jobs are completed independently, so the right person will be confident running smaller jobs themselves and problem solving on site.
This role suits someone comfortable working on existing homes and renovations, not just new builds.
What we\'re looking for
* Qualified carpenter (no students or apprentices)
* Strong attention to detail
* Able to work independently and think through problems
* Comfortable communicating with clients when required
* Reliable and organised
* Experience with renovations, maintenance work and problem solving in older homes will be highly regarded.
Requirements
* Minimum of 5 years carpentry experience required
Pay
* $50 - 60 per hour + super (ABN)
* Consistent work available for the right person
