Flooring Sales Consultant / Interior Designer
Boutique Showroom – Byron Bay
Evolved Floors is expanding to Byron Bay with a new boutique showroom, and we’re looking for a passionate Flooring Sales Consultant / Interior Designer to be the face of our space.
This role is perfect for someone who loves interiors, understands materials and finishes, and thrives on helping clients bring their vision to life.
About the Role
You’ll work closely with residential and commercial clients to guide them through flooring and interior finish selections, from initial consultation through to order placement. You’ll be responsible for creating an exceptional in-store experience and supporting projects from concept to completion.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide expert advice on flooring and interior finishes (hybrid, vinyl, engineered timber, carpet, acoustic wall panels)
* Assist clients with colour, texture and product selections
* Prepare quotes, process orders and manage follow-ups
* Maintain showroom presentation and displays
* Build strong relationships with customers, builders, designers and suppliers
* Support sales targets and contribute to showroom growth
About You
* Background in interior design, flooring, or building products retail preferred
* Strong eye for colour, finishes and spatial design
* Sales-driven with a customer-first mindset
* Confident communicator with excellent people skills
* Organised, detail-oriented and reliable
* Comfortable using quoting systems and basic computer software
