**About the Role**
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced General Manager to lead our South Australian dealerships, covering four locations with over 100 employees. With full P&L accountability, you will have Branch Managers reporting directly to you and will oversee new truck sales, parts, and service departments, driving dealership performance and customer satisfaction. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to coordinate operations in line with national strategy, developing a cohesive team culture, and delivering financial growth.
Your role will focus on creating a collaborative, results focused, safety-conscious environment, building strong relationships with departmental leaders, and ensuring exceptional customer service. With VTC Australia's support, you'll champion continuous improvement, streamline operations, and align dealership activities to our core values of Speed, Value, and Trust.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Lead and manage a high-performing dealership team
- Ensure P&L achievement across Sales, Service, and Parts
- Foster a culture of zero harm and operational excellence
- Collaborate with VPs and functional heads to drive consistency and operational efficiency
- Strengthen customer relations and drive customer-focused initiatives
- Oversee facility management, safety compliance, and employee engagement activities
**Success in this role requires**:
- 5 years + of leadership experience within dealerships
- Proven experience in driving team success, achieving budget goals, and optimising dealership operations.
- Effective interpersonal and coaching skills to inspire and develop your team
- Demonstrated business acumen, with an ability to execute growth strategies
- A deep commitment to safety and a collaborative working style
