**The Role**
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Construction Manager to join the team at our Waste to Energy Project, located in Kwinana.

**The Project**
The Kwinana Waste to Energy project is a joint venture between the Western Australian Government and one of our key Clients, Acciona. This project involves the development of a new waste processing facility in Kwinana that uses moving grate technology to process approximately 400,000 tonnes of industrial waste every year to produce approximately 36 MW of renewable baseload power for export to the grid.
**Job Tasks and Responsibilities**
Reporting directly to the Project Manager, the Construction Manager will be responsible for ensuring the project is delivered in accordance with the Scope of Works, budget, schedule and our core values.
The
**Construction Manager**'s day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing and directing the construction project, including in-depth reviews of scheduled deliverables, estimated costs, and managing materials, equipment and resources.
- Ensuring project teams meet or exceed the required performance targets and delivers scope of work in accordance with client and project specifications.
- Assisting in the resolution of any technical problems encountered during the execution of the works.
- Providing hands on leadership and direction to the project team.
- Reviewing construction programs, identify and forecast risks and suggest opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with the client to manage head contract and adhere to change management process.
- Management of onsite industrial relations matters.
- Building and maintaining effective working relationships with project stakeholders, consistently upholding Australian standards and best business practices.
- Striving for high client satisfaction.
**Essential Requirements**:
- Qualification in Electrical trade.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role.
- Demonstrated experience in managing high performance teams.
- Demonstrated good safety record and knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety.
- Valid Driver's License
- OHS Construction Induction Card
- High level customer relationship management and interpersonal skills.
**Desirable Skills / Experience**
- Qualifications in Project Management, Construction Management and/or Leadership training highly regarded.
- Cert IV Training and Assessment.
- Demonstrated understanding and experience with QA/QC process management and continuous improvement
- First Aid Training
