* Shape the Future of a Purpose-Led Organisation
* Strategic CFO Role with Board Influence
* Drive Growth, Compliance and Impact in a Complex Sector
Ai Carbon is a leading carbon project developer, working with landholders, Indigenous communities and industry to generate carbon credits and deliver lasting environmental and economic outcomes.
As Ai Carbon seeks to expand its impact under the Australian Carbon Credit Unit (ACCU) Scheme, we are seeking an influential and commercially driven CFO to join the executive team. Acting as a key partner to the CEO, you will help steer the organisation’s future—driving financial strength, unlocking new business opportunities, ensuring regulatory confidence, and enabling scalable, long-term growth.
The CFO will shape and execute Ai Carbon’s financial and commercial strategy to enable scalable growth and long-term impact. This role will elevate financial governance, ensure compliance with AFSL obligations, and embed data-led decision-making across the organisation. The CFO will lead high-value commercial initiatives, including innovation in project structuring, while building confidence with investors, regulators, auditors, and other key stakeholders.
About You
You’re a sharp, commercially minded finance professional who’s excited about helping a company grow into its next stage. With a strong foundation in management accounting, you can move effortlessly from hands-on modelling and reporting to high-stakes commercial negotiations and due diligence. You bring intellectual rigor, curiosity, and the drive to shape strategy—not just report on it.
You’ll thrive in a fast-moving, growth-focused environment where no two days are the same. Your leadership style is modern, inclusive, and values-driven—you know how to mentor, influence, and build momentum across diverse teams.
Experience in agriculture or carbon is a bonus, but what matters most is your ability to learn fast, think commercially, and help drive Ai Carbon into its next phase.
