The Craigie Tavern, a family owned and operated local Tavern located in the Northern suburb of Craigie, WA, is seeking a full-time Chef De Partie to join our dynamic kitchen team.
This role will be responsible for:
1. Leading by example and developing the team
2. Culinary creativity, menu planning and food quality
3. Food safety compliance
4. Brand management
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:
* Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery)
* Proven experience as a Chef de Partie in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
* Ability to work autonomously, organise, and manage a busy kitchen and workstation
* Passion and pride for quality food, taste, and presentation
* Knowledge and experience in menu design, costing, and implementation
* Experience in managing cost of goods
* Maintain high standards of hygiene, quality, and understanding of food safety practices and plans
* Professional work ethic and good communication skills
* Experience in developing and maintaining professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* Availability across the week, including evenings and weekends
