Larvotto Resources (LVR) is developing the Hillgrove Antimony and Gold Project in Armidale, NSW. Larvotto Resources is forging ahead with current ramp up activities on our Hillgrove Antimony and Gold project and we now are seeking an experienced Senior Mine Surveyor to join the onsite mining team.
About the Role
Reporting into the Mine Technical Superintendent, the Senior Mine Surveyor will be responsible for contributing to achieving production and development targets across all mining and site operations (underground and open pit) by delivering comprehensive survey control services.
This role will be offered on a residential basis with relocation assistance provided.
Enjoy a work/life balance roster - 8 days on, 6 days off.
Key Responsibilities
* Utilise survey equipment and adhere to best practices to efficiently produce precise survey data.
* Install survey stations to provide directional control for mining operations.
* Perform accurate mark-ups of all designs related to horizontal and vertical development.
* Prepare high-quality survey plans and memos promptly as required.
* Conduct development pick-ups and maintain consistently accurate as-built survey models.
* Execute CMS surveys as needed and verify all resulting data.
* Complete end-of-month surveys for both underground and surface operations.
* Undertake small-scale aerial survey assignments across mining leases.
* Carry out surface set outs and pickups as required.
* Fulfil other miscellaneous survey-related tasks, as necessary.
* Maintain survey equipment to the highest standards, ensuring all instruments remain calibrated and properly adjusted.
Qualifications and Experience should include:
* Bachelor's Degree or formal qualification - Surveying
* Extensive experience within mining operations, ideally within hard rock underground and open pit mining environments
* NSW Survey Certificate of Competency (desirable not essential)
* Excellent communication skills with a positive approach to Safety
* Current valid Manual Driver's License
* First Aid Certification / CPR qualification, (highly desired)
Other Requirements:
* Unrestricted rights to work in Australia.
* Must be able to provide a valid National Police Clearance, obtained within the last six months upon request or ability to gain
* Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment medical assessment, including drug and alcohol screening, and comply with ongoing testing during employment.
