Job Description:
The Sourcing Specialist will be responsible for the sourcing and execution of portfolio plans across Mercy Health's multi-entity operations. They will work closely with key stakeholders to deliver best value outcomes and support the development of procurement strategies.

Requirements:
To thrive in this role, you will have:
* Proven working experience in a sourcing or procurement role
* Experience in Health and Aged Care sectors is advantageous but not essential
* Familiarity with strategic sourcing and category management methods
* Subject matter expertise across Direct Goods / Services Categories
* Understanding of market dynamics and sound business judgment
* Strong project management and leadership skills
* Ability to establish and sustain networking relationships
* Comfortable with figures and collecting, analysing, and interpreting data
* Solid judgment with the ability to make good decisions
* Understanding of Contracts and Legal Terminology
* Ability to prioritise various projects
* Influencing skills at all levels, including internal and external stakeholders
* Excellent communication skills, including verbal and written, and the ability to prepare reports for executive approvals
