Monadelphous is seeking an experienced SMP Project Engineer to provide engineering and project management support to our Newcastle Operations team. This is a hands‐on, site‐based role offering the opportunity to live and work locally in the Newcastle region.

Responsibilities
* Tendering/Estimating and methodology development.
* Perform project control functions – scheduling, cost control including managing performance against budget and developing variations where required.
* Lead and coordinate site support functions (Quality, Technical, Planning, Commercial).
* Manage project data, reporting, and commercial documentation.
* Support tender submissions and execution phases.
* Participate in client and contractor meetings, offering practical solutions.
Qualifications
* Experience working in an on‐site engineering position, servicing the resources sector.
* Exposure to piping, electrical and construction work.
* Understand and deliver core elements of managing a major project.
* Australian recognised tertiary qualification in Mechanical or Structural Engineering.
* Strong, clear written and technical skills.
* Confident user of MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Project).
* Strong understanding of project management principles.
* A strong commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
* Proof of right to work in Australia.
