What you'll be doing
The CPCS worker is an experienced clinician with extensive specialist knowledge, providing high quality specialist trauma-specific therapeutic counselling and casework services to children, young people and their families/carers referred to the SNSW Local Health District CPCS services, in order to meet their health and wellbeing needs. Selection Criteria
* Current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Psychologist OR relevant tertiary qualifications in Social Work or Counselling with eligibility to the respective Australian professional association.
* Post graduate experience providing high level specialist social work or psychology services to vulnerable children, young people and their families/carers with an understanding of relevant legislation and NSW Health policies, procedures and guidelines.
* Demonstrated proficient written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
* Demonstrated ability to use independent professional judgement while working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and with interagency partners.
* Ability to build partnerships with key stakeholders to optimise outcomes for vulnerable children and their families/carers.
* Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritise and organise workload and deliver care in keeping with AASW Code of Ethics or Aust. Psychology Board standards.
* Demonstrated commitment to and experience in providing professional development, quality improvement, clinical supervision and student supervision.
* Current unrestricted drivers' licence and the ability to maintain. Ability and willingness to drive/travel as the role requires. This may involve driving long distances.
