About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Sales Agent (Part-Time Contractor) to drive new business growth and manage the full sales cycle across Australia and New Zealand. This is a remote role, working independently from home with occasional travel required for customer meetings, site visits, or industry events. The ideal candidate is a sales hunter—proactive, commercially driven, and capable of developing opportunities from prospect through to close. Prior experience within the fuel, convenience retail, or retail technology sectors will be highly regarded.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across the Fuel & Convenience market.
- Manage the end-to-end sales process – prospecting, qualifying, presenting, preparing proposals, negotiating, and closing.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers at fuel retailers, distributors, and equipment providers.
- Represent multiple supplier solutions under the Fuel Retail Solutions brand, positioning each to address customer needs in pricing, payments, automation, and efficiency.
- Collaborate with suppliers to coordinate technical, commercial, and implementation discussions.
- Maintain accurate CRM and pipeline reporting.
- Attend key industry events and customer meetings as required (some travel involved).
About You
- Minimum 5 years' experience in B2B sales, ideally in Fuel & Convenience, energy, or retail technology sectors.
- Proven hunter mentality and strong track record in generating and converting new business.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Capable of working autonomously with limited supervision.
- Comfortable managing multiple opportunities concurrently.
- Existing network in the Fuel & Convenience sector is highly advantageous.

- Commitment : Part-time / flexible hours (work from home)
- Compensation : Monthly retainer + competitive sales commission
- Reporting To : Principal, Fuel Retail Solutions
- Travel : Occasional travel as required
