About the Position
Several permanent full-time roles are available for TAR Supervisors in our Defence division.
The positions are based in Keswick, South Australia.
* Manage subcontractors/suppliers and initiate corrective actions to ensure quality and timeliness.
* Maintain stakeholder relationships to meet contract outcomes.
* Deliver daily range briefings per TASO (excluding DOTAM safety briefings).
* Oversee safe, efficient range operations across facilities, equipment, and personnel.
* Provide on-call support for minor maintenance on TAR sites without Caretakers.
* Maintain and manage range equipment.
* Allocate TAR sites to users upon induction.
* Issue/receive comms gear, keys, and Govt Furnished Equipment to Defence/non-Defence users.
* Administer TAR bookings via Defence system.
* Monitor/respond to TASnet; maintain accurate electronic logbook.
* Control TASnet during emergencies; escort emergency services as needed.
* Perform Caretaker duties on unmanned TAR sites.
* Recommend and implement service delivery improvements.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead a team of contractors/subcontractors and take corrective actions when necessary.
* B build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to achieve desired contract outcomes.
* Conduct daily range briefings following TASO protocols, excluding DOTAM safety briefings.
* Safeguard effective operation of ranges through proactive management of facilities, equipment, and personnel.
* Offer on-site assistance for minor repairs on unstaffed TAR locations.
* Ensure proper upkeep and control of range equipment.
* Assign TAR locations to users after they have completed their induction process.
* Distribute and collect communication devices, keys, and Government-provided equipment to Defence/non-Defence users.
* Process TAR bookings using the Defence system.
* Track and respond to TASnet notifications while maintaining an accurate electronic logbook.
* Take control of TASnet during emergency situations and provide escorts as required.
* Caretaker duties on unmanned TAR sites.
* Develop and implement suggestions for enhancing service delivery.
