About the role
The purpose of this position is to oversee the daily operations, ensuring efficient service delivery, team performance, supporting field operations through equipment, logistics or services.

The successful applicant will be responsible for:
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with key customers in the mining industry.
* Overseeing all operational activities, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
* Setting goals and objectives for the branch and working with the team to achieve them.
* Developing and implementing business strategies to improve operational efficiency and performance.
* Ensuring adherence to company policies, procedures and legal regulations.
* Recruiting, training, and supervising branch staff, and conducting performance evaluations.
* Managing and resolving customer complaints or issues promptly and professionally.
* Addressing customer and employee satisfaction issues promptly.
* Networking to improve the presence and reputation of the branch and company.
* Continuously improving branch performance through processes improvement and innovation.
* Preparing regular reports on branch performance and financial results
About you
Essential:
* A minimum of 5 years in an Operational Conveyor Management role in either with a Tier 1 mining house and or as a Branch Manager.
* Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Excellent organisational and time management skills.
* Strong understanding of safety and environmental regulations.
* Strong understanding of conveyor maintenance service requirements
Desirable:
* A degree in business, engineering or a related field.
