This well-known ASX-listed Financial Services organisation employs 1000+ staff and operate a high availability, low latency network.
They are undertaking a major network transformation project to redesign and re-build their network that will take place over the next 4+ years.

ROLE SNAPSHOT
As the Senior Network Project Engineer, you'll be working in a team and responsible for the hands-on implementation of this large-scale, complex, and critical end-to-end network transformation.
Responsibilities include:
* Implement & configure mission-critical enterprise network infrastructure.
* Deliver both data centre and public cloud network solutions - accommodating current and future needs.
* Deliver highly available, scalable, reliable, resilient, and secure low-latency network solutions.
* Testing of network solutions.
* Actively contribute thoughts / ideas / recommendations around solution implementation, hardware/software selection, and risk mitigation.
* Extensive collaboration with various stakeholders across multiple streams - (Network Architects, technology & business stakeholders, external vendors etc..)
* Contribute to ongoing documentation.
* Multi-vendor environment - Cisco, Arista, Ciena, Palo Alto, Juniper, F5, AWS / GCP etc.
* Data centre attendance as needed.

REQUIRED BACKGROUND / KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE / PERSONAL QUALITIES
Suitable for a Network Project Engineer experienced with the hands-on delivery of large-scale, mission-critical, end-to-end network projects.
Deep knowledge of BGP and OSPF is essential.
Ideal for someone seeking a challenging technical project-focused role inside a collaborative and motivated high-performing team.
The following is required:
* Proven experience with the hands-on implementation of large-scale, mission-critical, and complex end-to-end network projects - essential .
* Deep BGP & OSPF knowledge (incl implementation experience) - essential .
* Multi-vendor experience e.g. Arista, Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, F5 etc
* Multicast exp is highly beneficial.
* Demonstrate strong understanding of security & risk management concepts.
* Team player and a natural collaborator capable of confidently communicating and voicing thoughts/opinions in a respectful manner.
* Demonstrate well-developed problem-solving skills.
* Show a strong sense of ownership, accountability and outcome delivery.
* Relevant certifications - CCIE, CCNP, Arista etc
This is a full-time permanent role (hybrid working) that is offering $140,000 - $160,000 (plus super) + bonus potential.
