The clients consist of both profitable full-service commercial legal practices and specialist boutiques and can reward senior lawyers considering a lateral move by potentially delivering a better salary/profit share model as well as better strategic positioning in terms of client acquisition and development through cross referrals of existing clients and established market brand. Many of these firms have won multiple employer of choice awards, are high profile and invest significantly in helping acquired practices' prosper, grow and reach their full potential. The Role The roles on offer will suit lawyers at the Senior Associate, Special Counsel or Partner level across a number of different practice levels. We have a particular focus at present on new briefs for Partners with the following skillsets: Multiple IP Partner roles at a highly regarded firm in Melbourne, founded by ex top-tier lawyers, now with over 100 lawyers. These roles will cover both front and back end IP matters. The role DOES NOT require a portable practice and you will have sufficient workflows from the existing client base A growing Property team is looking for a Property Partner to join them in Melbourne. An amazing firm that punches above its weight and has an enviable firm culture. This role does require a portable practice. Opportunity for a Tax Partner to join the Tax team of this highly regarded firm. You will work across HNW tax structuring as well as other tax-related matters. Current Partners have adequate workflows, and this role will be in succession to one of these Partners. Highly regarded firm looking for a Financial Services Partner to be based in either Melbourne or Sydney. This role will NOT require a portable practice. You will work across a range of financial services matters, financial services licensing, structuring for investment streams, etc., generated through the existing Funds practice. Opportunity for an OH&S Partner to join the team in Melbourne and provide the necessary mentoring to the junior staff. The firm billed over $1 million dollars in Safety matters last year. If you are an experienced OH&S Lawyer looking to grow and support this already thriving team, this is a fantastic opportunity. Typically, to take advantage of these opportunities, you will need some sort of portable practice, however there can be opportunities available for ambitious SA's looking to just simply leverage their contacts outside of a top or mid-tier environment with the support of a more flexible rate card and a focus on mid-cap and private clients. Our clients will consider both salaried and equity/fixed partners, depending on client base and amount of portables. Special Counsel Appointments and fast-tracked Senior Associate appointments are also on offer.
