We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven leader to head our sales team in the commercial and industrial business. In this role, you will be responsible for mentoring and coaching team members to enhance performance, while ensuring continuous improvement across business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement strategic plans for acquiring new business.
* Analyse sales forecasts, performance, and budgets to ensure that the company's products are sold within guidelines, to achieve maximum profitability.
* Lead and manage sales stream to achieve or exceed set sales targets for the commercial and industrial business.
* Monitor, control and report on key performance metrics to ensure business objectives are met.
* Review and monitor all relevant tenders called within the state and coordinate tender submissions.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align strategies and achieve collective results.
Requirements:
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a sales team management role, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment
* Considerable experience in the lubrication of FMCH industry preferred
* Proven strategic management experience
* Strong leadership skills, with a passion for mentoring and coaching individuals to succeed.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to leadership.
* Proven track record of sales success and business development
* Excellent business acumen and financial literacy, with the ability to drive profitability.
* The ability to be computer savvy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
* A valid driver's licence
