About the Job
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialist Asset - Rebuild Project professional to join our team. This is a 3-year fixed term project based in Perth, with a Monday-to-Friday roster.
As a Specialist Asset - Rebuild Project professional, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the demobilisation and re-commissioning of 24 Hitachi EH**** and 24 Caterpillar 793F dump trucks over a three-year period. You will work closely with the Superintendent Asset Engineering to ensure safe, efficient, cost-effective, and timely delivery of all project milestones.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the end-to-end demobilisation and re-commissioning process for the mobile fleet.
* Conduct and coordinate pre-shut inspections of trucks 8 weeks prior to demobilisation.
* Conduct and coordinate post-wash weed and seed inspections of trucks prior to demobilisation.
* Act as the primary interface between operations, site maintenance, crane contractors, tyre fitters, and vendors.
* Oversee and support the vendor responsible for offsite rebuilds, including scheduling, logistics, and quality assurance.
* Manage the commissioning process, ensuring all components are reinstalled, systems are tested, and trucks are returned to service-ready condition.
* Track and report all project activities within agreed timeframes and budgets.
