We offer a comprehensive range of benefits to support your transition and enhance your experience throughout the program. Flights or reimbursement of travel expenses are provided at the beginning and end of the program. Residential housing is provided, and transport to site is arranged for you, and you will be fully equipped with all necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to ensure your safety and comfort on the job. Candidates who successfully complete the vacation program will be fast-tracked into our graduate program.
This is a 12-week residential program running from December to February, on a roster of 5 days on 2 days off and 4 days on 3 days off.
Our Vacation Program offers you the opportunity to grow both professionally and personally through a range of enriching experiences, including:

* Taking ownership of real projects with meaningful impact
* Receiving mentorship from experienced technical leaders
* Participating in operational and personal development training
About the role
The Vacation Student – Contracts Advisor is a developmental position designed to build commercial and administrative capabilities within the commercial team. The role provides exposure to contract management, supplier engagement, and procurement systems. Each task is supervised by a contracts or procurement specialist, aligning responsibilities with the student's business acumen and learning goals.
Your responsibilities will include
* Assisting with preparing and issuing RFQs and tenders
* Reviewing supplier quotes and comparing pricing
* Supporting contract administration and compliance tracking
* Maintaining procurement records and supplier databases
* Participating in supplier meetings and negotiations
* Monitoring delivery schedules and resolving issues
* Collaborating with site teams to forecast procurement needs
About you
The ideal candidate is currently enrolled in a Commerce, Business, Economics or similar degree. Ideally you will have some experience with relevant software and systems through studies or placements. You should demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and a ability to communicate effectively across verbal, written, numerical, and graphical formats. You will be able to uphold high work standards, build strong relationships with peers and leaders, and work independently to meet personal and team goals. A valid manual driver's licence and willingness to live and work remotely are essential for this role.
