**About the role**
Supporting the National QHSE Manager at their Tullamarine manufacturing facility, the HSE Coordinator role is a fantastic opportunity for a junior HSE professional with manufacturing experience to take their next step under the wing of a strong senior Health and Safety leader with extensive experience in manufacturing environmnets. Alternatively, this role would also suit a seasoned manufacturing professional looking to pivot into a formalised HSE role who has previous health and safety exposure within another function of their role.
Working across a site based operational workforce of circa 200 as part of a team of 3, this role will include:
- Supporting the internal auditing process of Health and Safety practices in line with business-wide and legislative requirements
- Training and supporting of manufacturing staff in safe working practices in line with site HSE framework
- Preparation and submission of HSE reporting to line and operational management stakeholders
- Building out broader HSE capability across the manufacturing workforce
**What we are looking for**
- HSE/OH&S experience within a manufacturing context, circa 3 years in industry
- Formalised HSE qualifications at the Certificate III or IV level or equivalent
- Good communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences, able to communicate across different levels of an organisation from floor to operational/leadership stakeholders
- Rapport building skills within a shop-floor environment
