Job Overview
The Respiratory and General Physician will provide inpatient services within the scope of clinical practice to adult general medicine services, including High Dependency Unit (HDU) and Acute Medical Unit services. This role is designed for a dedicated professional who can work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing high-quality patient care through diagnosis, treatment, and management of various medical conditions;
* Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans;
* Maintaining accurate records and communicating with patients and their families regarding their condition and prognosis;
Supervising and supporting Doctors in Training (DITs), including Basic Physician Trainees (BPTs), is also an essential aspect of this role.
Participating in the on-call roster for the hospital demonstrates commitment to delivering 24/7 care and support to patients.
