At the Royal Adelaide Hospital, we’re offering an exceptional opportunity to contribute to our dynamic Intensive Care Services while completing the College of Intensive Care Medicine’s Transition Year program. In this role, you’ll hone both your clinical and non-clinical expertise under the guidance of our supportive Consultant team, ensuring you’re fully prepared for the challenges and rewards of a specialist career in Intensive Care Medicine. Beyond clinical excellence, you’ll have the chance to lead a clinical support portfolio in areas like research, education, organ donation, end-of-life care, ultrasound/echocardiography, or clinical governance. Supported by experienced supervisors, this role is designed to empower your growth and provide a solid foundation for your future in Intensive Care. About You We’re looking for an experienced and passionate professional ready to make a significant impact as an ICU Medical Practitioner. To succeed in this role, you will need: Qualifications : Eligibility for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and satisfaction of the College of Intensive Care Medicine’s criteria for entry into the Transition Year program. Skills and Attributes : A commitment to high-quality patient care, strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, flexibility in dynamic clinical environments, and excellent oral and written communication abilities. Experience : Proven training and experience in resuscitation, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse cultural and professional backgrounds. Knowledge : A solid understanding of clinical standards and their application in intensive care settings.
