Our valued State Government client is currently recruiting an experienced Business Support Officer within their busy team to assist with a variety of administrative tasks.As the Business Support Officer, your responsibilities are to:Provide efficient and high standards of customer service to customersEffectively monitor and manage internal and external correspondence, incoming and outgoing telephone calls and ensure responses are provided within required time frames.Willingness to work within a fast-paced environment with KPI’s and mechanisms to measure and monitor performance.Ability to connect with industry, local suppliers and internal and external stakeholders to ensure the timely and effective delivery of services.Demonstrate professionalism and be a positive contributor to a great team and culture while being prepared to perform recurring work.Be dedicated to customer satisfaction, and within boundaries, develop an outcome which achieves both customer and business objectives.Ensure high standards and accuracy when compiling documents and reports or updating records and information systems (i.e. in Ellipse and Microsoft Office).Demonstrate initiative and be a team player by appropriately handling enquiries to senior staff in their absence within expected timeframes.Develop and maintain procedures, manuals and registers while being a contributor to improving existing procedures.Effectively undertake general administration functions as required.To be successful in this role, you will have:High level attention to detail and accuracyAbility to work independentlyIntermediate to advanced Excel skillsExcellent customer service skillsBasic accounts knowledge would be an advantageCapacity to start immediately in a role
