Program Overview
The First 1000 Days program is a comprehensive midwifery and child health nurse model that provides an integrated, holistic, and needs-driven approach to healthcare. Our goal is to support families with vulnerabilities who may not engage in health services due to past experiences, stigma, or system barriers.
The program focuses on connecting and supporting women and families from pregnancy through the early years. We work with pregnant women, postnatal women, and their children up to the age of two years. Our team is dedicated to providing coordinated, responsive clinical care that addresses the complex needs of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Knowledge and experience working with socially complex women and families
* Experience working autonomously, with advanced communication and complex problem-solving skills
* Knowledge/experience working with CPLU/Child Safety
* Awareness of legislation for release of information, section 159(N/M) of the Child Protection Act
Benefits:
* Remuneration value up to $131 900 per annum, comprising salary between $107 960 - $115 604 per annum (full-time), or salary rates: $54.44 - $58.30 per hour (part-time)
