About the position
CellSera Australia is part of the Auckland Biosciences group, a multi-award-winning Life Sciences company and an international business supplying high-quality animal products to large pharmaceutical companies across the globe.
We are looking for a Casual Laboratory Technician to join our materials processing team in Rutherford, NSW.
Experience in a laboratory or manufacturing environment is preferred but not essential.
In this position, you will be responsible for:
Daily processing of animal materials
Laboratory set up and cleaning
Recording and weighing materials
Operating lab equipment and machines
Loading and unloading the laboratory machine
Organising material waste
General warehousing duties
Packaging and palletising for domestic and international shipments
Some activities include lifting up to 15kg
About you:
No previous laboratory or manufacturing experience required, but is preferred
Must be comfortable handling animal by-products
Must hold a valid full driver's licence and have access to a vehicle
Must have legal working rights in Australia (Australian Citizen, resident or a valid work visa) – We are not able to sponsor visas for this vacancy
Able to manage tasks efficiently and work with a diverse team
