* Budgeting: Guide the development of the annual budget
* Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies
* Internal Controls: Maintain and strengthen internal financial policies
* Advisory: Advise the Executive Committee on financial opportunities and risks
Ideal Qualifications and Skills
* Professional experience in finance, accounting, auditing, or a related field
* Understanding of financial governance in the NFP or charity sector
* Experience with accounting software (for example QuickBooks)
* Strategic thinker with the ability to communicate, explain financial information to non-financial Committee members
