In this role, you'll play a vital role in supporting patients, families and community through skilled, compassionate care. Delivering evidence based- nursing care that supports recovery
Participating in therapeutic, relationship-building, and dignity-affirming care
Supporting creative and social activities that improve mood and wellbeing
Using sound clinical judgement to assess, plan and evaluate care with patients and teams
Collaborating to support patient safety and continuity of care
Sharing knowledge, ideas and leadership that strengthen the team and improve practice
Here's what will help you thrive:
Registration or eligibility for registration, as a Registered Nurse, with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and possession of an annual practicing certificate is mandatory
Strong clinical skills with the ability to make safe, informed decisions
Clear communication and a collaborative, respectful approach to care
Commitment to continuous learning and quality improvement
Residential aged care facility management experience preferred
