The Role :
As a restaurant manager, you may fulfil the responsibilities which include staff management, customer service, financial management, menu development and inventory and supplies, health and safety and operational efficiency. The primary job responsibilities are as follows :
* Answer business phone calls during the daytime and arrange reservations.
* Work closely with the management group to meet revenue objectives.
* Follow company policies and procedures.
* Possess requisite skills and technical ability to accomplish job responsibilities.
* Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction.
* Resolve customer complaints and manage the restaurant's good image and suggest ways to improve it.
* Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices.
* Maintain OKAMI FOH daily opening operation and closing routine standards.
* Review food and beverage quality during the operation.
* Check if received the proper product (supplier, Coles & Dan Murphy) every time. If received the incorrect product, report it to management in a timely manner.
* Coordinate daily Front of House and Back of House restaurant operations.
* Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints.
* Organize and supervise shifts.
* Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity.
* Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations.
* Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste.
* Promote the brand in the local community through word-of-mouth and restaurant events.
* Implement policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations.
* Report any faults or damage issues from the restaurant on time (including equipment, fit out, elec, gas, etc).
Skilled and experience requirements :
* Have more than two years of work experience as a Café and Restaurant Supervisor or Manager.
* A relevant Diploma Certificate in Hospitality Management or above.
* Have a current NSW Liquor and Gaming Licence is preferred.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills; Bilingual Language is preferred, and good English Communication Skills.
* A positive attitude, immaculate presentation, and attention to detail.
* Flexibility with shifts and availability on weekends.
* Love of food, dining out and providing fantastic experiences for the customer!
