Job Title: Asset Manager
This role presents an exciting opportunity to lead the Asset Team in ensuring effective delivery of asset management that aligns with organisational policy and plans.
The Asset Manager will provide leadership and guidance to the team across all asset management functions, including responsive maintenance, cyclical and planned scheduling, supplier and contractor procurement, and management.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience leading and training a team to achieve deliverables and outcomes. They will be reliable, hardworking, motivated, and socially focused on equality, stability, and brighter futures for communities and families through safe, affordable, and secure homes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assisting the Chief Operations Officer (COO) in ensuring regulatory compliance and reporting outputs are met by the Asset team.
* Coordinating efficient use of systems by the Assets team to meet requirements.
* Identifying team capabilities and developing targeted training and development programs with the COO.
* Engaging with clients to ensure timely, accurate, and appropriate communication.
* Investigating complaints relating to team performance and reporting to the COO.

The successful candidate will possess 3 years' experience in Asset Management and team leadership, intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office software, proven experience using asset management software, sound understanding of the Residential Tenancies Act 2010, strong English writing and verbal communication skills, effective time management and organisational skills, and experience working with the community or strong knowledge of Aboriginal culture.
