Role Overview
We have a full-time (38 hours per week) receptionist opportunity at Townsville Airport. Based at Townsville Airport, the Administration team provides effective support to enable airport operations.
The successful candidate will support a professional environment with strong customer focus and excellent organisational skills, and be proficient with Microsoft Office. While experience in a similar role is desirable, comprehensive training will be provided.
The base ordinary hourly rate of pay for this position is $31.92 excluding superannuation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Administration: handle mail, word processing, data entry, and maintain up-to-date lists and registers.
2. Manage appointments and coordinate meetings and events, including catering.
3. Provide administrative support for airport operations, such as visitor passes and car parking, ensuring smooth coordination and documentation.
4. Oversee the handling and tracking of lost property, ensuring items are logged, stored securely, and appropriately actioned.
5. Provide general administrative support to the Airport team to ensure smooth operations.
6. Reception: be the welcoming face of Townsville Airport Management Centre, deliver exceptional customer service, answer and manage phone calls professionally, and maintain a presentable reception area.
* Financial and Procurement Support: create and manage Purchase Orders, book staff travel, and order office and operational supplies to maintain stock levels.
