Overview of the role
Strong understanding of how telecommunication contracts work, including basic contract law, compliance frameworks and risk management.
Attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and ability to manage deadlines and multiple contracts simultaneously.
This role is integral to the effective and efficient operation of the organisation's wholesale and corporate business activities.
Effective written and verbal communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills, and solid computer literacy.
Job Profile
· Prepare, review and interpret contracts, tenders, and related project documents, including drafting amendments and variations.
· Act as a coordination point between internal teams, clients, and suppliers regarding all contract related matters.
· Monitor budgets, forecasts, and cost variations, and prepare progress claims and invoices linked to contract milestones.
· Manage subcontractor and supplier agreements, insurances, compliance documents and performance against contract terms.
· Maintain accurate records and registers for contracts, variations, extensions of time, claims and key dates.
· Respond to contract-related queries and help resolve issues or disputes in line with contractual provisions.
· Ensure contracts and variations accurately reflect commercial agreements and protect the organisation's interests.
· Support project delivery by managing documentation, costs, risks, and key dates tied to contracts.
· Prepare monthly and quarterly reports on contracts signed with new and existing business clients to give an overview of business performance
· Engage with the principals and clients for making variations in the standard service agreements
Eligibility Criteria
Qualifications Required - Bachelor's or higher degree in Management or Business administration.
Relevant Experience - Minimum of 3 years' experience working independently as a Commercial Contract Administrator in the telecommunication industry, managing day‑to‑day contract activities.
Software knowledge and IT skills- The successful candidate must demonstrate proficiency in advance Microsoft Office applications and have strong working knowledge of telecommunications billing platforms, Salesforce, and similar systems.
Community Language - Proficiency in at least one prominent and recognised community language (other than English) is highly regarded
Driving Licence – The selected person will be based in the Gold Coast but required to travel to the Sunshine Coast Business Centre frequently
