Field Service Technician – Industrial Paint Equipment
HENDRA | FULL‐TIME | HANDS‐ON MECHANICAL ROLE
The Opportunity
We're looking for a practical, mechanically minded Field Service Technician to join our Hendra‐based team, supporting a major national retail contract. In this role, you'll service and maintain industrial paint mixing and dispensing equipment, working on‐site across retail locations across the greater Brisbane region. You don't need to be trade‐qualified! If you enjoy working with your hands, fault‐finding, learning how equipment works, and being out on the road instead of behind a desk, this could be an excellent long‐term career move. This is a permanent, full‐time role offering variety, independence, and strong support from a well‐established national business.
What You'll Be Doing
* Carrying out preventative and corrective maintenance on industrial paint equipment
* Diagnosing faults and repairing equipment to ensure safe, reliable operation
* Completing service reports and job records using mobile work apps
* Delivering work to contract standards and agreed schedules
* Representing the business on‐site and providing professional customer service
* Working safely, independently, and as part of a supportive technical team
About You
* Mechanically minded and comfortable using basic tools
* Enjoy problem‐solving and learning new equipment and systems
* Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
* Hold a valid manual driver's licence
* Well‐organised with good time‐management skills
* Comfortable using a tablet or mobile device for work reporting
* Australian citizen, able to obtain a police clearance
* Able to work independently while also contributing to a close‐knit team
Previous experience with mechanical, service, maintenance, or field‐based roles will be highly regarded, but is not essential.
