About The Role
Provide a full range of asset services to a group of schools within the assigned area of the regional North Coast Asset Management Unit (AMU)Support with the implementation of facilities management programs and maintenance works, to provide high quality, professional service delivery.Liaise with consultants, contractors, and other asset management staff to support the design, development and construction phases of projects.Prepare project briefs, status reports, financial information, and other associated documentation to inform decision making on the delivery of facilities management projects in schools.Maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders in schools, including community groups, Principals and staff

Asset, Construction or experience in a similar field is desirableHave the ability to work with stakeholders at all levelsStrong organisational skills and be able to work in an environment of changeSolid computer skills and Microsoft Office of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
Essential Requirements Of The Role
Current and valid Driver's licenceWillingness to travel across the assigned Asset Management area of North Coast NSWDemonstrated understanding of and commitment to the values of public education.

The role requires you to deliver a full range of asset/facilities management services to a group of schools, requiring you to work closely with school Principals and other staff. Provide an example of when you delivered high quality customer service. (300 words max)The Asset Management unit operates in a high volume/time critical environment. Describe a time when you have had to deal with competing priorities and stakeholder expectations. What stakeholder management methods did you utilise? How did you ensure expectations were met? (300 words max).

Renewal is not required after the WWCC expires, as long as you remain in a non–child-related role. Employer obligations only apply while the WWCC is valid.
