Role Overview

The
Sales Manager – Australia & New Zealand
is a senior commercial role responsible for driving outbound luxury travel sales from the Australian and New Zealand markets on behalf of Heavens Portfolio's client portfolio.

This position focuses on
B2B sales, market education, and strategic relationship management
within the luxury travel trade. Acting as a brand ambassador for multiple high-end hospitality clients, the Sales Manager will develop and execute market-specific sales strategies, generate sustainable revenue growth, and strengthen long-term partnerships across leisure, corporate, and MICE segments.

Candidates with fewer years of experience but strong potential may be considered at
Associate Sales Manager
level.

Key Objectives of the Role

* Drive consistent and sustainable
sales revenue growth
from Australia & New Zealand
* Strengthen awareness, preference, and performance of Heavens Portfolio's luxury clients in the ANZ market
* Build and maintain trusted, long-term relationships with key travel trade stakeholders
* Position Heavens Portfolio as a
strategic commercial partner
to both clients and trade partners
* Deliver meaningful market insights, performance reporting, and ROI analysis
* Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, discretion, and luxury brand representation

Key Responsibilities

Sales Strategy & Market Development

* Develop, implement, and execute comprehensive sales strategies aligned with Heavens Portfolio's overall commercial objectives for outbound travel from Australia & New Zealand
* Identify priority market segments, key accounts, and distribution channels to maximise revenue opportunities
* Translate individual client goals into actionable, market-specific sales plans
* Drive brand positioning and visibility through consistent, targeted engagement with the luxury travel trade

Revenue Generation & Account Management

* Generate bookings and sales revenue by qualifying, educating, and influencing the luxury travel trade
* Conduct regular sales calls, in-person meetings, roadshows, and sales missions to travel agencies, tour operators, corporate accounts, and MICE planners
* Manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts through structured account planning and performance reviews
* Identify new business opportunities and emerging partners across leisure, corporate, and MICE segments

Relationship Building & Trade Engagement

* Build, maintain, and develop strong relationships with traditional and online luxury travel trade partners
* Cultivate high-level relationships with industry leaders, influencers, and key opinion leaders
* Establish trust-based partnerships through consultative selling and long-term collaboration
* Represent Heavens Portfolio and its clients with credibility, confidence, and market expertise

Marketing, Promotion & Partnerships

* Localise, distribute, and effectively sell-in sales and marketing collateral to trade partners
* Liaise with Tourism Boards, airline partners, and destination stakeholders on joint initiatives
* Plan, coordinate, and execute
FAM trips
, site inspections, and experiential travel opportunities
* Represent clients at trade shows, industry events, media interviews, and networking functions
* Collaborate with luxury brands and strategic partners on special projects, campaigns, and co-branded promotions

Market Intelligence & Reporting

* Conduct ongoing market research and maintain expert-level knowledge of outbound travel trends from Australia & New Zealand
* Monitor competitor activity, pricing strategies, and broader market developments
* Prepare, analyse, and present detailed reports demonstrating sales performance and
ROI
* Provide regular market feedback and insights to internal stakeholders and clients

CRM, Systems & Administration

* Utilise
Salesforce
on a daily and weekly basis to track sales activities, enquiries, pipelines, and outcomes
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date trade profiles, contact databases, and CRM records
* Ensure reporting accuracy and adherence to internal processes and timelines
* Support administrative and operational requirements as needed

Collaboration, Flexibility & Travel

* Work collaboratively within a dynamic and agile team environment
* Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to support a variety of initiatives as business needs evolve
* Contribute positively to team culture, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement
* Travel occasionally to support sales missions, client engagements, and international projects

Candidate Profile & Requirements

Education & Professional Background

* Degree in
Hospitality, Business, Marketing
, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
* Minimum
5 years' experience in luxury sales
, preferably within travel trade, hospitality, or destination marketing
* Proven experience operating in a
B2B sales environment
* Must be
based in Sydney, Australia

Industry Experience & Network

* Established relationships within the
luxury travel trade segment
* Existing network of travel advisors, tour operators, corporate travel managers, or MICE planners
* Strong understanding of luxury hospitality products, brand positioning, and distribution models

Skills & Competencies

* Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
* Strong negotiation and consultative selling capabilities
* High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail
* Commercially astute with a results-driven mindset
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
