Boujee Bread', a thriving small bread production in Marrickville NSW, is seeking a full-time Baker to join our talented team. As a Baker, you will play a crucial role in creating artisanal focaccia for our customers that mainly are sandwich shops. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our local business.
Responsibilities
* Mix and bake various focaccia
* Accurately measure and mix ingredients
* Operate and maintain baking equipment, such as ovens, mixers and ensure consistent and efficient production
* Monitor product quality throughout the baking process and make adjustments as needed
* Keep the baking area clean, organised, and compliant with all health and safety regulations
* Collaborate with the wider team to develop new and innovative baked products
Qualifications
* Formal training or qualification in baking or a related culinary field
* Minimum 2 years of experience as a Baker or Pastry Chef, preferably in a high-volume, fast-paced bakery environment
* Excellent knowledge of baking techniques, food safety, and equipment maintenance
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow recipes precisely
* Adaptable and able to work efficiently in a team environment
* A passion for creating high-quality, artisanal baked goods
