We have been contracted to Glencore's Mc Arthur River Mine to complete modifications of existing site infrastructure along with the installation of a new Filtration Plant.

We are currently seeking a Materials Coordinator to join our team commencing ASAP. This will be a full-time role with approximately 9+ months project duration, mobilising to site mid-March on a 2:1 roster.

The Role:

* Schedule, coordinate and supervise the daily activities of the materials work crew ensuring the safe execution of materials management along with the team to ensure successful supply of all materials and equipment.
* Review work packaging and detailed planning.
* Monitor daily works, including quality inspections, daily progress reporting and safety leadership activities.
* Coordinate work crew plant, equipment, and materials to achieve operational outcomes and targets, safely.
* Promote, conduct, and amend risk assessments to identify, highlight and implement mitigation strategies, as required.
* Support, coach and effectively communicate with team members to ensure consistent dealings with work crews in all areas including performance and other matters as they arise, to ensure timely, fair and acceptable issue resolution and team harmony.

About You:

* Appropriate industry experience in a construction receival yard
* A proven track record in effective health and safety management.
* Experience in effective planning, scheduling, management of personnel, resources, and equipment to meet Project requirements.
* Experience in logistics, materials coordination, storage management and procurement on a construction project
* Well-developed interpersonal, influencing and communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to build positive working relationships at all levels.
