The Opportunity:
This is not a typical management role. We are seeking a General Manager to assume full operational control and drive the strategic growth of the company. You will be the key decision-maker, responsible for everything from day-to-day excellence to long-term market expansion. You have one primary goal: to build a reputable, efficient, and highly successful operation.
This role offers complete autonomy to shape the business. You will report directly to the owner and your performance will be directly rewarded.
Key Responsibilities:
* Business Growth & Client Acquisition: Develop and execute the sales and marketing strategy. Personally build and nurture relationships with key referrers (LACs, Support Coordinators, allied health professionals). Be the public face of the company at community and industry events. You will be directly responsible for winning new clients.
* Operational Leadership: Oversee all aspects of service delivery, including staff management, rostering, compliance with NDIS Commission standards, and financial administration. Ensure the highest quality and safeguarding for our participants.
* Strategic Management: Develop and manage budgets, analyse P&L performance, and make data-driven decisions to ensure profitability and sustainable growth.
* Team Building: Recruit, lead, mentor, and inspire a team of support workers and administrative staff to deliver exceptional service.
Who We Are Looking For:
You are a rare blend of a strategic operator and a relentless business developer. You are equally comfortable managing a budget as you are taking a key referrer out for coffee to close a deal.
Essential Experience & Skills:
* Proven experience in a senior operational management role within the NDIS, aged care, or community services sector.
* A demonstrable track record in business development, sales, and driving client growth. You must be a "Hunter."
* Deep understanding of NDIS compliance, pricing, and operational frameworks.
* Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and P&L.
* Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
* An existing network within the Darwin/NT health and disability sector is highly advantageous.
* No-nonsense, results-driven attitude with the autonomy to work without micromanagement.
