The role involves addressing customer pain points, solving user challenges, and collaborating with Product Management, Engineering, Data Analytics, and Delivery teams to deliver cohesive solutions.AccountabilitiesDeliver tested, validated, and robust UX and UI solutions ready for implementation.Facilitate concept testing, capturing user insights to inform feature development using the DVFU framework.Validate user needs and establish metrics for continuous experience improvement.Prioritize and conduct high-value UX activities aligned with product delivery timelines.Determine appropriate discovery and shaping activities during feature development.Enhance UX practices and identify opportunities for impact across Cochlear.Lead workshops, analyses, and create UI/UX artifacts to accelerate product delivery.Advocate for improvements in Experience Design and Human-Centered Design activities.Minimum 6 years of proven experience as a Product or UX Designer for software products.Experience working in collaborative agile teams within complex problem spaces.Advocate for Inclusive Design, User-Centered, and Human-Centered methodologies.Deep knowledge of design patterns and best practices in user experience design.Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex research clearly.Strong analytical and collaborative problem-solving abilities.Preferred QualificationsExperience in Lean UX, Dual Track Discovery, or Continuous Discovery.Experience integrating brand and accessibility considerations into digital products.Experience working with web and mobile application teams.Knowledge of Service Design methods and Customer Journey mapping.Understanding of Design Systems and their role in product design.Additional InformationCochlear's mission is to help people hear and be heard.
