What you'll be doing
As an Occupational Therapist – Student Educator, you will balance direct clinical care with supervising, educating, and supporting OT students and staff.
* Plan, coordinate, and oversee OT student placements, ensuring high-quality learning experiences
* Provide clinical supervision and guidance to students, supporting their professional development
* Deliver exceptional outpatient rehabilitation services aligned with WSLHD standards
* Educate and support staff supervising students, building departmental capability
* Lead evaluation and improvement of clinical placements, contributing to service excellence

Essential Criteria:
* License: Class C NSW Driver's Licence
* Qualification: Degree or diploma in Occupational Therapy
* Registration: Current registration to practice as an Occupational Therapist with the Occupational Therapy Board, AHPRA
Selection Criteria:
1. Current registration to practice as an Occupational Therapist with the Occupational Therapy Board, AHPRA
2. Current Class C NSW driver's licence
3. Demonstrated high level clinical expertise and extensive experience in a rehabilitation setting
4. Experience in student and staff supervision and demonstrated clinical teaching and facilitation skills
5. Demonstrated advanced organisational, time management, negotiation and written and verbal communication skills
6. Demonstrated ability to work both independently with minimal and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
7. Demonstrated leadership in professional development, quality improvement and evidenced based practice initiatives
