The Role: Forklift Operator
As a Forklift Operator at Sadleirs Logistics, you're the backbone of our operations—keeping freight moving safely and efficiently, with a team that's got your back every step of the way.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Safe forklift operation in compliance with regulations
* Adhere to all document handling procedures
* Conduct pre-start checks and report any issues
* Handle dangerous goods and quarantine items according to regulations
* Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth freight handling
* Inspect loads for damage and report any issues
* Follow pallet management procedures
* Perform other tasks as required
What You'll Need
* Current forklift licence (HRWL)
* A strong safety-first mindset
* At least 12 months of logistics experience (preferred)
* Manual handling ability
* A team-focused, can-do attitude
* The right to live and work in Australia
