Registered Nurse - Operating Theatre (Scrub/Scout) | Mackay Base Hospital, Queensland
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (Grade 5) with recent Operating Theatre experience to join the Scrub/Scout team at Mackay Base Hospital. This role involves supporting surgical teams, maintaining sterile technique, and assisting with perioperative procedures in a busy regional hospital setting.
You will be an integral part of the theatre team, ensuring safe and efficient surgical operations while working closely with anaesthetists, surgeons, and other perioperative staff.
Requirements
* Registered Nurse (RN) - Nurse Grade 5
* Recent Operating Theatre experience (mandatory)
* Strong perioperative and Scrub/Scout skills
* Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary surgical team
Desirable Experience
* Knowledge of ieMR and proficiency in using the system
* Previous experience working in Australia, QLD Health, and/or Mackay HHS
