Cleaning Facilities Lead - NSW GovernmentPay Rate: $660 per day + Super
Location: Central Coast (various locations available) + WFH
Anticipated Duration: Until 30th June 2026 with potential to extend
Hours: Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week
The Cleaning Facilities Lead is responsible for managing the operational delivery of cleaning services across sites within the Hunter and Central Coast region. The role contributes tactical input to service delivery planning, ensures adherence to performance standards, and supports contractor management, service monitoring, and stakeholder engagement to achieve high-quality cleaning and facilities outcomes.
Key accountabilities
* Manage and oversee the day-to-day delivery of cleaning services across the region, ensuring compliance with agreed KPIs, WHS obligations, and departmental policies.
* Provide operational input into the development of cleaning programs, risk management activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Implement local monitoring protocols (inspections, audits, spot checks) to assess employee and contractor performance and escalate issues as required.
* Support the management of emergency response activities (e.g., outbreak cleans, flood/fire recovery cleaning) in consultation with the Cleaning Facilities Manager and relevant stakeholders.
* Maintain effective working relationships with employees, contractors, and internal asset management teams to ensure the timely resolution of issues and a high-quality, professional customer service.
* Provide accurate advice and draft responses to technical briefs, ministerial correspondence, and information requests relating to cleaning services.
* Mentor, guide, and supervise teams, fostering capability development and a customer-focused service culture.
